Have you ever had a dream where you are trying so hard to get somewhere? It seems that every few steps that you take, you’ve been re-routed elsewhere, or there’s another obstacle that blocks your path. For me, this has been a reoccurring dream for many, many years. The dream (which comes in different variations) always has me desperately rushing, trying so hard to reach someone I love, or a place I hold dear. It’s always a dream that wakes me up, often sweating profusely. And, of course leaving me feeling completely emotionally drained.

‘Lost’ took a crazy amount of time to create, with that polystyrene hot wire cutting tool on Warp 10. It was if my ‘mad’ mind took over the sculpting of each individual shape. After a few days I’d created hundreds of them! The dream was then ready to be re-created using a canvas, gel mediums and white acrylic paint.
